1. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All transations imply that the Client has agreed to these terms and conditions, which override any other document.

2. ESTIMATES

Each translation order is preceded by a free estimate/quote. The Translator will send a quote to the Client that indicates:

  • the number of pages or words to be translated
  • how the rate is calculated (the work may be billed by the hour, by the number of source words in French, or by a flat rate)
  • the delivery date, and any possible surcharges.

To confirm the order, the Client must email the unmodified quote back to the Translator indicating consent with a signature.

3. DEPOSITS

The Translator may ask for a 25% to 100% advance payment for any order worth more than 500 euros.

4. CLIENT OBLIGATIONS

The Client will provide the Translator with any required technical information and specific terminology that is needed for comprehension and consistency.

5. FORMAT

The translation will be delivered in Word format by email.

6. RESPONSIBILITY

In any event, the Translator is not liable for any amount that goes beyond the invoiced amount.

7. PAYMENT DEADLINE

Invoices must be paid 30 jours upon receipt. The translation remains intellectual property of the Translator until full payment is received.

8. CANCELLATION

If an order is cancelled while the translation is in progress, the work that has already been completed will be billed to the Client at a rate of 100%.
